HIDDEN GEM: MEN’S FASHION NOLA

When New Orleans is brought up in conversation, typically the first things anyone (mainly tourists) want to talk about are Bourbon Street, the Saints, and Café Du Monde’s beignets. After mentioning the distinctive architecture, they may say something about great hospitality and the people being friendly. All this is cool, but it puts the city in a box to where outsiders wouldn’t think there’s an affluent and growing music and fashion scene. There’s a lot more to get into besides food and alcohol in my city, but if you don’t know any better, it is what it is. If you're visiting or looking to step up your apparel portfolio, rather that be by edgy streetwear or professional threads, this is where you need to be. I'm covering the mandatory brands and storefronts in New Orleans deserving of recognition. Guaranteed to find something that intrigues you so have that wallet ready. Comment below if I missed some heat, or wouldn’t mind suggesting more gems throughout NOLA.
