TEEZY DA MAN

It’s exciting to see how talented Teezy Da Kidd is, but why does it seem there’s a lack of interest publicly. I feel like the notoriety he’s receiving within New Orleans, and otherwise, should be on another level. Everything that’s worth anything comes with time so I guess patience is a virtue. The most I’ve seen are from A million roses Tv and Elevator, respectfully. He’s earned the right for much more coverage and he shall receive.

Teezyvsthewrld!” came on a YouTube playlist while my girl and I were working from home, and it was really her initial reaction that set it off. She froze and turned to watch the whole music video then was like, “I don’t know him, but he nice. He sounds better than a lot of the other guys from the city.” Mind you, she damn near hates my taste in music. My first impression was definitely along the same wavelength as well and I soon fell down the rabbit-hole.

Teezy Da Kidd has 4 albums/EP’s to date with a slew of singles. Before I Go (2021) is the most recent body of work with “Pushin’” ft. Hardheaded Huncho being my clear favorite. His music is very aggressive and I'm here for it; New Orleans has never been sweet so it’s only right. He gives off subtle drill vibes with songs like “The Teacher”, but that’s definitely not the only flow in his bag.

At this point, Teezy Da Kidd has me excited for the future cause his work so far is pressure. Y’all already know that same pressure makes diamonds so check bro out—like right now. He’ll be more of a household name soon so when everybody else jumps on the bandwagon, you’ll be able to call them late. Please, please, please go listen to the last song on the video provided below, he snapping. “Overdose” starts at 3:43…
